Telwater is Australia's leading and largest manufacturer of aluminium boat and trailer packages in the southern hemisphere.

Australian owned and operated, Telwater produces up to 30 boats per day and in excess of 12,000 boats and 6,000 trailers annually, supported by approximately 200 dedicated staff.

Telwater is a privately owned company and specialises in the design and manufacture of Australia's leading aluminium boat brands, Quintrex, Stacer and Savage, as well as Yellowfin and Archer plate boats, Savage Fibreglass boats, Desert Edge Camper Trailers and Vortex engines.

Managing Director Paul Phelan and Chairman Bruce Shepherd bought Quintrex Australia in 1988 and by 1999 Telwater Holding Company was established with the acquisition of Stacer. Savage was purchased by Telwater in 2008, the same year manufacturing began on the range of aluminium Desert Edge Camper Trailers. In 2009, Yellowfin plate boats were relaunched and in 2010, Archer and Vortex were also released by Telwater, taking the company's brand portfolio to a total of eight.

Producing more than one hundred boat models ranging in size between 2 metres to 7 metres, Telwater is continually setting industry standards with its innovative designs, advanced technology and constant research and development program.

Situated on a 8.6 hectare site, Telwater is constantly expanding with a small boat factory, large boat factory and a packaging factory currently spanning over 2.5 hectares. Staff members range from expert welders and painters, research and development technicians and many other various trades, all with the highest quality of workmanship and dedication to the brands.

Within Telwater's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, there is the latest equipment operated by highly skilled fabricators to produce the best possible aluminium boats. Three custom designed paint booths utilise infrared drying and electrostatic technology allowing for boats to be painted faster, more consistently and last longer in the elements. Our ability to plasma cut, press and weld marine grade aluminium, combined with industry leading quality controls enables us to produce a quality boat even our competitors envy.

Boasting over 220 dealers nationwide, Telwater supplies boat, motor and trailer (BMT) packages to its extensive dealer network and was the first aluminium boat manufacturer to offer BMT drive-away packages. The company's success and reputation in Australia has allowed for expansion into the international market, exporting to over 22 countries covering the South Pacific, Asia, Europe and the United States.
